DPA Platinum Points
The Dance Promoters’ Association Executive Committee are pleased to announce the launch of the new Platinum Points to commence at the start of the 2024/25 League, 1st August 2024.
A bigger and better evolution of the National League for its members and you the competitor!
The Dance Promoters’ Association together with its members are continuing to evolve an ever changing competition market.
Super League was introduced to enable selected National League categories to receive higher points however, this was not available to all National League categories, and now it’s time for us to change that.
Platinum Points (PP), which will replace Super League goes much further, as it allows Promoters to select any category that is currently in the National League system and allocate points accordingly.
Therefore, a Promoter can custom design a programme to suit.
A Promoter may have a maximum of 12 Platinum Points per day (per section, Ballroom/Latin and Classical/Modern Sequence) of their event, and at this time take advantage of one extra, making a total of 13!
